About Andorra
The Principality of Andorra is a sovereign landlocked microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south.

Andorra's mountainous environment attracts 12 million tourists each year. There are concerns about the deforestation of the 99 SqKm of remaining woodland.
Overgrazing of mountain meadows by sheep, with consequent soil erosion, is another environmental problem.
About Marissa
Marissa has been working in the Andorra for the last 13 years on sustainable living and specifically trying to decrease textile waste. Marissa makes individual, stylish items of clothing, accesories and home decor from recycled textiles and vinyl such as advertising banner and available through her business Andwearis. She promotes sustainable living and how to be a conscious consumer on her Instagram page.
Marissa works in an integrated way with her community. This may involve collaborations with local businesses from sourcing discarded advertising banners to selling the final products in their shops. She is passionate about education and works in schools to educate children about re-use and recycling by running workshops. She is involved with litter collection in the Andorran mountains and in addition to picking , makes the bags for the group
